    The Pace Analytical (ISG) Facilities Qualification group is hiring an administrative support technician to perform business functions related to equipment qualification services and cleanroom certification testing.  This exciting position offers the opportunity to provide sales and dispatch support for custom facility and equipment qualification protocols related to controlled environments (cleanrooms) for all industries. Customer base includes medical device, life science, electronics, scientific, defense, and other high tech industries. Self-directed individuals with the ability to function in complex industrial and lab environments will thrive in this Minneapolis-based position. There is the possibility of on-site support for field service work in the Twin Cities regional area, and nationally 10%+ travel is possible based on project demands.     Responsibilities

    • Prepare quotes based on customer service requests using SalesForce
    • Process POs and other sales-related tasks
    • Schedule work and manage workflow software (GP/Signature/MobilTech)
    • Assist in the report preparation process as needed
    • Prep job files for field service team
    • As needed, field services to be provided based on current team workload including on-site testing of production cleanrooms including HEPA integrity testing and ISO 14644 particle count certifications
    • on-site equipment certification including laminar flow workstation, fume hood and biological safety cabinet certification
    • on-site testing and report completion for custom Installation, Operation and Performance Qualification protocols for equipment including HVAC and cleanroom facilities, purified water systems, compressed air and gas systems, autoclaves, ovens, and other controlled environment equipment

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma- some college or technical education helpful
    • 2 years of post-secondary is a good target for Technical level positions   
    • Computer skills, MS Office and specialized programs
    • Excellent MS Word formatting ability
    • Good team interaction personality
    • Technical writing ability
    • Basic math skills including geometry and algebra
    • Ability to work in a self-directed environment
    • Ability to understand technical drawings and manuals related to the work are this position supports
    • Strong technical aptitude as demonstrated through work or educational experience
    • An eagerness and desire to learn about complex instrumentation and systems
    • Exceptional customer service skills
    • Experience in cleanroom certification, metrology, or other related testing or technical tasks is desired
    • Valid driver's license required
    • 10% travel nationally (this is related to the field work portion of the position)
    • Occasional weekend/night projects
