Candidate will evaluate facilities and processes with respect to potential hazards to maintain and improve a safe and healthy work environment.
Work with site EHS professionals to develop and document procedures related to Lockout/Tagout and Line Opening
Maintain and improve site database used for storing safety related documents and procedures
Conduct annual audits on machine specific procedures
Conduct competency audits on facility personnel
Represent EHS in a professional and safety orientated manner
Complete additional tasks/assignments as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Safety related discipline
Mechanical knowledge and general knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures
Safety experience in a corporate or pilot plant setting preferred
Possess problem solving skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
A team player who can manage multiple projects simultaneously
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly productive
Possess the ability to manage a change in projects with little notice
