    We are actively seeking candidates with ICP-OES, ICP-MS, GC, and/or GC-MS experience who are interested in a position that would support the assessment of medical device materials for potentially harmful extractable or leachable compounds. The ideal candidate is one who will thrive working in a highly dynamic, team oriented environment; sharing the common goal of providing reliable data to our clients that can be used to improve the safety and effectiveness of medical devices.

    Candidates must have prior analytical experience with the desired analytical technique(s) and be able to demonstrate their interest in continuing to acquire new analytical knowledge and skills.  Additionally, a four year degree in a physical science field, such as chemistry, is required. 


    Job Responsibilities:

    • Perform chemical, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for the assessment of medical devices and medical device raw materials
    • Lead the authoring of protocols and reports
    • Lead the process of compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results
    • Lead the troubleshooting of complex analytical methodologies/matrixes
    • Oversee analysts running established methodologies; guide and mentor junior level staff
    • Develop new methods for the assessment of extractables/leachables within medical devices and medical device raw materials
    • Interface with clients, as appropriate



    • Experience with ICP-MS, ICP-OEW, GC, and/or GC-MS
    • At least five years employment experience in a related field
    • cGMP experience preferred
    • Experience with Waters Empower software preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently
    • Ideal candidate is self guided, motivated, and possesses a strong sense of initiative
    • Four-year or advanced degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or Physics
