  • Overview

    Pace Analytical is seeking a Project Manager with clinical, health care, or pharmaceutical experience to support product development. Ideal candidates would have industry experience related to clinical trials, budget tracking, and project management software.

    Responsibilities

    Project Management:

    • Maintain detailed project timelines in Microsoft Project based on project team’s input
    • Update and maintain other project management tools like Planisware, scorecards, and project spend in budget tracking tools
    • Provide timely communication to project team Director and PM Advisor on project timeline and budget changes
    • Coordinate regular project status meetings with project team members and take minutes, document decisions and actions
    • Proactively communicate project status, issues and risks to project stakeholders and escalate issues when appropriate
    • Manage the tracking and reporting of key project success measures for scorecards as well as project metrics

    Budget Analysist:

    • Efficiently work in SAP to export reports for financial analysis (monthly)
    • Compare SAP reports to forecast to ensure all POs are accurately captured and make corrections as needed (weekly)
    • Provide inputs to finance reports to review variances on spend for monthly review with finance team
    • Maintain master budget files and provide project expense reports (weekly)
    • Ensure all accruals are appropriately allocated and reported to finance (monthly)
    • Provide project summary update report to each team reporting the forecast, actuals, and variance (bimonthly)                                       

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline or equivalent work experience
    • Must have demonstrated knowledge of project management skills, tools, and processes in areas such as timeline, cost, and risk management
    • Computer literacy and proficiency in a variety of PC applications and project systems (Microsoft Project, Excel, and SAP)
    • Attention detail with data management experience
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal, team working, and leadership skills
    • Demonstrated ability to problem solve
    • Independent self-management and organizational skills; able to manage workload, set personal and project priorities as needed
    • Flexibility to adjust quickly and effectively to frequent change and altered priorities
    • Experience in Animal Health and/or Drug Development preferred
