  • Overview

    Responsible for providing sampling services to clients mainly in wastewater area. The qualified candidate will work mainly outdoors monitoring groundwater, surface water, air, soil, and waste water samples


    • Daily setting up of sampling equipment and flow monitoring.
    • Daily maintenance of equipment (cleaning and repair).
    • Constructing and installing primary flow measurement devices (weirs, flames).
    • Interacting daily with clients.
    • Promoting cooperation and teamwork among staff.
    • Following Pace policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must be available to travel
    • Valid State Driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record
    • Excellent geographical knowledge of the laboratory service area
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and di vide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
    • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
    • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
