Provides support to project management and sample receiving to help achieve customer satisfaction.


Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM


  • Managing projects as determined and assigned by the Manager involving initial client contact, opening of projects, coordination of sampling requirements and bottle needs, verification of accurate check‑in of samples, monitoring status of analysis, providing response to client inquiries, and invoice and client report review
  • Receiving requests for laboratory services from external clients and coordinating services and scheduling requirements while serving as Project Coordinator of these requests
  • Acting as "key client contact" for designated clients
  • Assist the Project Management team
  • Backup log in and or subouts for Sample Receiving
  • Subouts for Project Management
  • Media orders
  • Invoicing
  • Can tracking
  • Misc PM tasks to increase the efficiency of the department
  • Assisting PM team as needed
  • Promoting cooperation and teamwork among staff
  • Following Pace policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Other duties as assigned


  • BS degree in scientific or environmentally-related field preferred but not required
  • One year laboratory or customer service experience required
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
