Pace Analytical Services, LLC, a leading national analytical laboratory is seeking highly motivated candidates for an entry level Laboratory Technician in the Organic Prep Department in Greensburg, PA.

Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM (probability of overtime)

• Extract Organic compounds from water, soil and waste samples for analysis in accordance with EPA SW-846/600 series methodology
• Prepare reagents
• Keep log books up to date
• Locate and prepare environmental samples in an efficient and organized manner
• Wash analytical glassware
• Keep the laboratory clean and safe
• Assist with waste sample treatment and disposal
• Promotes cooperation and teamwork among staff
• Follows Pace Analytical Services, Inc. Policies and Standard Operation Procedures
• Other duties as deemed necessary by Management

• Candidate should have an AS or BS in Science or equivalent years of lab experience
• Current and applicable computer skills
• The individual should be self-motivated, ambitious, hard working, and able to work independently
• Physical requirements include, walking, bending, and carrying. Must also have hand and finger dexterity, and the ability to lift 60 lbs repeatedly
