Responsible for providing sampling services to clients mainly in wastewater area. The qualified candidate will work mainly outdoors monitoring groundwater, surface water, air, soil, and waste water samples
Daily setting up of sampling equipment and flow monitoring.
Daily maintenance of equipment (cleaning and repair).
Constructing and installing primary flow measurement devices (weirs, flames).
Interacting daily with clients.
Promoting cooperation and teamwork among staff.
Following Pace policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Other duties as assigned.
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be available to travel
Valid State Driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record
Excellent geographical knowledge of the laboratory service area
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and di vide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
