Pace Analytical Services, Inc., a leading national analytical laboratory is seeking highly motivated candidates for an account executive for the Connecticut / South Eastern NY Area.


  • Sales planning
  • Maintaining current accounts
  • Growing existing business
  • Telemarketing
  • Client presentations
  • Proposal presentations
  • Trade show attendance and participation
  • Preparing bids
  • Answering technical questions
  • Forecasting revenue
  • Assist in developing marketing and promotional materials
  • Regular territory travel, occasional overnight travel
  • general activities to build the professional market awareness of Pace Analytical Specialty Services in the territory
  • Strong communication skills as well as a sense of customer service and dedication to increase revenue are a must


  • BA/BS required - preferably in the sciences
  • Preference will be given for prior sales experience or environmental industry experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Dedication to increase revenue in this territory


Pace Analytical offers a competitive salary and benefit package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug plan, life insurance, disability coverage, and 401(k) with a fully vested employer match, and tuition reimbursement. The reimbursement package will include base salary plus commission, and expense account and vehicle allowance.
