Overview

The Hazard Communication Specialist will work with vendors to seek out chemical information and will be responsible for entering the vendor information into internal customer systems. This is an entry-level regulatory services position working with paint and coating products.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with external companies (vendors) to acquire product information
  • Update product records by using Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), Product Data Sheets, and Certificates of Analysis (CoAs)
  • Review global chemical regulations and determine their application for various products
  • Independently work within specific computer programs and databases

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Health, or related Science
  • Proficient with computer databases with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills 
  • Customer service experience preferred
