Summary:

We are actively seeking candidates with who are interested in a position that would support the microbial assessment of inactive pharmaceutical ingredients (excipients) active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and pharmaceutical finished products.  The ideal candidate is one who will thrive working in a highly dynamic, team oriented environment; sharing the common goal of providing reliable data to our clients that can be used to improve the safety and effectiveness of pharmaceutical products.

Candidates must have the ability to communicate and interact professionally with clients, and be able to demonstrate their interest in continuing to acquire new analytical knowledge and skills.  Additionally, a four year degree in a life science field, such as microbiology or biology, is required. 

 

Hours: 

 

Tuesday - Saturday, 9 am - 6 pm

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform collection of environmental monitoring at client facilities
  • Participate in basic laboratory activities such as glassware cleaning, waste disposal, and stocking of supplies, general laboratory cleaning
  • Perform routine laboratory analysis such as: Bioburden, Microbial Limits Test, Water Testing, and Sterility Test

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Perform basic mathematic calculations
  • cGMP experience preferred
  • Ability to practice good aseptic technique
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently
  • Ideal candidate is self-guided, motivated, and possesses a strong sense of initiative
  • Four-year degree in science related field
