Overview

This candidate will be working in support of our customer's regulatory program for food and pharmaceutical products. Some knowledge of relevant regulations is highly desired for this position. This is a non-lab position.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct global regulatory reviews related to food and pharma
  • Maintain a working knowledge of global regulations and finding source regulations efficiently
  • Raw material coordinating
  • Manage product regulatory programs as a product steward 
  • Determine regulatory status of products and complete documentation/registration as needed 
  • Provide EHS&R support to product development teams
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations
  • Provide regulatory support for specific food and pharma regulations pertinent to the customer's product lines
  • Respond to inquries
  • Reviewing packaging and product claims/substantiations
  • Determine regulatory status of products
  • Handle import of food and pharma products
  • Monitor regulatory changes to assess business impact and ensure continued compliance

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in scientific discipline, Chemistry coursework preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience preferred
  • Database management skills, experience with SAP preferred
  • Technical writing experience preferred
  • Familiarity with regulatory programs (OSHA, EPA, FDA, etc) is a plus 
  • Knowledge of label composition requirements is a plus
  • Detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent people skills to get things done and negotiate as needed
  • US Person status required
